Dall'interno

Filmed on February 5, 1999 at the Maison de la Danse in Lyon by Charles Picq.
“Dall’interno, her new piece, is no exception and creates a patchwork of cultures, yet it’s a new road that reflects, explores, Carolyn’s state of mind, a journey through the labyrinth of temptation. where the sacred is opposed to the profane In this kind of Dante’s Hell, we are the witnesses of the pilgrims of life – like them, we are the heirs of the false step of Adam and Eve – faced with the choice, free to to complete or buy, in the manner of a Dorian Gray, one or more steps towards the sky.
A succession of sinister black figures follow one after another to the sound of the battles that have plagued our century, visions of suffering, familiar rejoicing, songs of peace, and the nostalgic poetry of Bob Dylan personified by the eternally young Carolyn. We will eventually leave the labyrinth. We can take off our dark glasses, straighten and realize our luck … “
