Ritmo
Two dancers evolve in their own environments, the city and nature. Then they meet to be in osmosis.
Technical comments
Ritmo was shot in Paris during the summer with only two dancers and myself. I use a Super 8 camera and three cartridges of film. The dance was pure improvisation, I let the dancer express itself in the places who I have chosen. The city for the boy and nature for the girl. I try to catch the movements and compose my frame with architecture or vegetales.
The last scene is the meeting with the dancers in a quiet square who bring together city and nature.
Sound comments
The music is a song made by an artist Paul Loubet who I have known and collaborated with for a few years. I just cut parts of the song to adapt to the different sequences of the video.
