[Off-sides]
“Hors jeux”, by the choreographer Iffra Dia, is the danced self-portrait of a naive character, someone on the fringes of society, who challenges norms and tries to find his own way in the world: an intimate solo, an invitation to the right to dream, to explore the imaginary, to widen your horizons so as not to keep your feet on the ground and put down roots.
Iffra Dia has gained experience in contemporary, jazz and African dance, while also rubbing shoulders with the masters of hip-hop dance. His sensitive style of dancing has retained all the virtuosity of hip-hop.
