“Femme, histoire d’un corps contraint” “is a play by Cie Nawel Oulad. With this creation she questions the identities associated with women. An identity is always social, cultural, political, when it concerns the female body it also becomespoetic, that of a body deeply connected to nature and its cycles. “Woman” summons conscious and unconscious images gradually sliding from everyday to sensitive. The gestures and the setting up question our own mental constructions in order to overcome them. woman guardian of traditions, to one seeking to emancipate oneself from them by listening to her body. This piece is an invitation to enter, to open a door to the inner world of woman … of women.
