‘Omar Rajeh’s Compagnie Maqamat joins the studio at La Chapelle Sainte-Marie for a month-long artistic residency based on the show Cette Mille Façons de Parler (working title).
‘In the silence of love you will find the spark of life’ – RUMI. This creation is an invitation to action, to delve into what drives us, what makes us open our eyes in the morning and get out of bed. It focuses on the body in extreme moments of passion, love and desire. She captures the extreme moments of being in the world that we sometimes imagine, think or dream when we stand in front of a work of art, watch a performance, read a poem or listen to a piece of music. Moments that question our presence and offer confirmation of our existence, our voice, our rights, our desire to be.
