From everyday life to the stage, from childhood to the present day, through voice, dance and musical instrument, Joana’s work as an artist is driven by this “everything is music” (even a coffee machine!).
In addition to blowing into bottles and singing in the shower, her passions have led her to discover and explore jazz at the ENM in Villeurbanne, and to earn classical piano diplomas at the conservatories in Lyon and St Maur-des-Fossés.
Expressing her music through the body led her to join a company as a child for 10 years, enabling her to tour extensively, before returning to serious matters at the CRR in Lyon and the CNSMDP.
During her studies, she was lucky enough to collaborate with personalities such as Maguy Marin, Odile Rouquet, Didier Silhol, Christine Gerard, Peter Goss and Christine Lantheric.
She also took a revolutionary course on the sound body with Emmanuel Robin.

As a fallen gymnast, pianist or singer, she has collaborated with choreographers such as: Louise Hakim/les Yeux de l’Inconnu, Jean-Christophe Boclé/ Ektos, Kitsou Dubois/Ki Productions, Le Collectif io, Wendy Cornu/Mouvimento, Métatarses/Sandra Abouav, Cie Op’là and the electro group Kab.

Today, she performs for CCN de Roubaix/Sylvain Groud Let’s move, No man’s Land/Leïla Gaudin Appelez moi Madame, Kido/Alexandra Grimal, Max Fossati, As Soon As Possible/Nina Vallon, Pli/Flora Detraz Muyte Maker, Ne Dites Pas Non Vous Avez Souri/Simon Deslandes Echoes of the Jungle and director Ismael Tifouche Nieto Arianna.

Out of necessity, she founded Cie Aniki Vóvó in 2016, where she is artistic director and works closely with artist Gala Ognibene. She was a laureate of the Fondation de Royaumont in 2018, where she met many like-minded souls with whom to create.
