Extrait de programme
« A suite of dances
based on the Argentine repertoire of the 30s and 40s
(Canaro, Troilo, d’Arienzo) and contemporary
and contemporary tangos by Satie, Stravinsky, Sclavis and Piazzolla.
A search
based on the “authentic” steps and behaviours
of an era fifty years ago.
Variations on a “conjugated” tradition:
a recalled past,
an intense present,
a dreamed future.
No set – but very architectural lighting
to create the settings for these passionate little stories.
Unusual costumes
for this now ultra-sophisticated suburban dance.
An a cappella singer.
And above all, diabolical sequences.
An opportunity to relive and experience differently
this music said to be “the deepest in the universe”. »
