This piece for 6 dancers deals with the loneliness of men in their quest for identity and their search for a place in society: a meaning to their life.
The violet is a solitary flower, it may be blue, purple or white … It is in the image of human beings, both similar and different.
In VIOLATUS, two people meet, then three, then six, they will get to know each other and to accept each other. On a violent night, in summer under the cicadas’ singing, they will come closer, share their fears but also their hopes.
VIOLATUS is a piece that simply deals with human relationships.
