Laurence Levasseur, a teacher and interpreter for, in particular, Mathilde Monnier and François Verret, wished to discover the universe of the choreographer Jorma Uotinen, the director of the Finnish National Ballet. In Mandragore, dressed in black, she deploys ample movements charged with violent and dramatic emotion. Strongly anchored to the ground, this solo highlights the eloquence of the interpreter and the power of the female body.
