“L’incessante” ends the 1999 instance of Le vif du sujet.
L’Incessante concludes this 1999 edition of Le Vif du Sujet presented in the garden of the Lycée Saint-Joseph in Avignon. A special case: the dancer Mathilde Altaraz did not choose to venture into another story. The unforgettable interpreter of Jean-Claude Gallotta’s works, she asked her favourite accomplice to create this solo. With this dance, she rediscovers the essence of her work, her own path. Between waves and whispers, her gestures develop a movement that is both nervous and fluid, expressing the small impertinent music of bodies, always at work in the choreographer’s dance.
