Vasque fontaine / partition Nord

Year of production
1998

A choreographic proposal by Frédéric Lormeau, a plastic artist, interpreted by the dancer Emmanuelle Huynh.

Remark by the videographer (2019): “I no longer remember how I met Frédéric Lormeau, but undoubtedly my name was going around at that time as a producer of dance film and show recordings. I made these two films, one in Paris and the other in Brest, which give me the opportunity to meet the dancer Emmanuelle Huynh. What is special about this performance is that it’s an improvisation with two objects (a basin and a fountain, manufactured objects covered with silver foil), for a few hours, until nightfall (without using artificial lighting).”
