URANUS

Dare an immersive, sensitive and contemplative trip with URANUS, a dance short film directed by Jérémy Tran and interpreted by the magnetic Vincent Clavaguera-Pratx with the music by Colin Edgar and J. S. Bach.
Inspired by the book “An apartment on Uranus” by Paul B. Preciado, URANUS is a hybrid, sensual and free experience that combines Queer imagery and the world of the night with notions of gender and sexual identities to question the ” standard “.
“The whole universe cut in half and only in half. Everything has a place and a setback in this knowledge system. We are human or animal. Man or woman. The living or the dead. We are the colonizer or the colonized. The organism or the machine. We were divided by the standard. Cut in half and forced to stay on one side or the other of the fault. What we call subjectivity is only the scar which, out of the multiplicity of what we could have been, leaves the wound of this fracture apparent.
