Six dancers lead us into a frantic and humorous visual maelstrom. In 20 paintings, they revisit the icons of ballet, contemporary dance, salon, sports and rhythm, academic or acrobatic. It’s an ode to dance, where derision meets demand. The opportunity for neophytes to discover its major themes, and for the most discerning to rediscover them in a new light, but never distorted.
