The Return of La Argentina is a solo piece part of a two-fold approach – choreographic and visual. Trajal Harrell drew his inspiration from the piece Argentina created by Kazuo Ohno in 1977 who, in turn, reinterpreted Argentina (1926) by Spanish dancer Antonia Mercé. The Return of La Argentina will be presented as part of an exchange programe between the CN D and the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York).
