Serpent, Serpent,
Go and tell the superior Serpent,
We are all suffocating in our old skin.
Serpent, Serpent,
Go and tell the superior serpent
The milk eyes stiffen in our forehead,
The old hands are like rusted pliers,
The old mouth like a shoe in the desert,
The old tongue like a crooked key,
The old venom is poisoning our lungs.
Serpent, Serpent,
Go and tell the superior serpent
To bring back the seasons of the year,
Summer and spring, winter and autumn
And moon at night.
