Set to music by Heiner Goebbels, François Raffinot devised the choreography of a show that depicts a duo exploring the implications of romantic relationships. This piece is danced by Sarah Crépin and Patrick Rébus and “very freely draws its energy from “La Jalousie”, written by Alain Robbe-Grillet” (extract from the programme of the Théâtre Le Volcan).
This piece, the last of the Le Havre – Haute-Normandie CCN, era was a resounding success. It was first presented as part of the first European festival of contemporary dance at the Nicosia (Cyprus) town theatre on December 16th, 1997. The venues of its performances include the Théâtre du Volcan, Le Havre, from May 11th to 14th, 1998, and the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord from June 11th to 30th. The piece toured overseas in the summer and autumn of that year, in particular in Mexico and Belgium.
