“Spontaneous, committed and visceral.” These are the terms that Mazelfreten uses to describe their work, largely inspired by the world of battles. Very lucid about the over-mediatization that surrounded the emergence of the Tecktonik brand in the 2000s, Brandon and Laura here reuse the codes and techniques of electro dance in order to develop an original group writing. They seek to produce an effect of hypnosis and trance, with a strong presence of music, while seizing the sociable relationships established by electro dance, in the internet era.
