With Plaisir d’offrir, Michel Kelemenis is not afraid to sum up the obvious influence of Dominique Bagouet, of whom he was a long time interpreter. Danced by Priscilla Danton and Michel Kelemenis, filmed as close as possible by Charles Picq, this duet reveals the emergence of a gesture specific to the choreographer, attracted by the taste of the ornamentation and Mannerism. Temptation visually translated by cutting the bodies inside the screen, which lingers on patterns, details, and almost gives the illusion of a stencil dance.
