Pièces
Created by Les 2 Scènes, Scène nationale de Besançon in November 2016
With her role-playing, impromptu confrontations, and oblique gaze on our attitudes and postures, Ambra Senatore invents a machine for examining lifestyles and, with finesse and lightness, uncovers a truth about our humanity.
With “Pièces,” her first creation as director of the CCN in Nantes, Ambra Senatore once again takes us on a strange adventure where the line between fiction and reality becomes blurred.
On stage, the dancers play between dance and theater, based on everyday actions, gestures, exchanges of words, moments of relationships, and dialogues on various subjects. Everything here is broken down and recomposed, decontextualized, with the aim of suggesting, through fragments, a discourse on relationships and human beings, with their weaknesses, desires, tragedies, and joys.
