As strange as it may seems, to watch or film dancing does not always give access to the dancer itself.
Often while being at the centre of the stage, the dancer will fade to let the character that is being interpreted shine. That is the sign of the dancer’s talent.
The making of this film was for me an opportunity to reconnect with a number of remarkable dancers. While paying them tribute and letting the public discover not only their obvious talent but their exceptional personalities and the deep sensibility of their souls.
