OTTO
A metaphor for daily life marked by precariousness, OTTO is inspired by texts by Louis Wolfson, an American writer affected by schizophrenia. Hitchcockian vertigo, Buster Keaton-style falls, a schizophrenic game of noise and silence, light and darkness, ‘<OTTO>’ features three characters: a girl wearing a helmet, concentrating on an interior monologue; a man who falls over every time he appears, taking down with him objects whose sound is amplified; a young man who wants to experience adventure and poetry. Each person acts only for themself in a space where they end up accumulating the traces of their past actions. Here, Kinkaleri offers us a representation of human history, with the absurd placed centre stage.
