When Fred Bendongué asked me to collaborate on Ok Jaz’En
Forme! all I had to do was draw on our respective knowledge, research, imaginations, memories and ten years of work, and let life appear. I based my work on an “African” phenomenon that is clearly visible in Kinshasa (DRC), the “sapeurs” movement.
