O Depois
Original title: O DepoisEnglish title: After
After is a play that deals with the themes of power, consumption and violence.
After is a play that deals with the themes of power, consumption and violence, and that reflects three years of risky work full of perspectives and possibilities that created more ambitious challenges with the interpreters of CiM. It is a complex commitment that, once more, crosses languages. Our proposal has to do with centering the bodies in the shadows of memory, physically and emotionally. The scenic space is full of elements of transportation and order, with a metaphorical value. After starts from the will to distort the labyrinths encountered in Here. We tried to create a place where life needs light, another light. The audience and the interpreters embrace a translucent transfiguration. After is an invention that seeks for changes from the beginning to the end. It is a creation of extreme pressures and adverse movements, that engineer a vision in which the vanishing point is one and one only. After involves us on an underworld of emptiness, in which the loss of references is portrayed. The senses mess themselves up in a stunning cruelty. These are transdisciplinary proposals in glittering surfaces with an horizon trapped in infinity. After is a play of artistic and emotional encounters that measures the intensity of light and launches shortcuts and previews.
