Negatovas

Negatovas presents a very gloomy universe, that slides vertiginously toward an excess of darkness and “negativity.” However, my objective witht his piece was to create a sharp contrast between this darkness and a comical aspect. The comedy will be an outgrowth of this excess but mostly of precise descriptions of the state of things, of attitudes, circumstances and  gestures. The comedy will simply arise out of this precision.

By way of movement, I wanted to find how people can be touching and tender within an excess of darkness and negativity—with  everything comic and tragic that this entails.
