The dramatic universe of this work develops through the different moments experienced by mothers and their infinite work: babies, buckets, basins, diapers… Every day, the same thing! The origin of the word mother is apparently one. In Latin “mère”, in Greek “meter”, in German “mutter”, in French “mère”, in Sanskrit “ma” or “mata”. And everything must have started with one of the fundamental sounds of the species, which is the baby asking to be suckled. In MA, the choreographer was in tune with the vigorous universe of the woman as creator and provider.
