Katharina Christl, Frédéric Flamand’s leading improviser and writer and builder Michel Kelemenis create a place of asides for themselves so that she can give in to temptation and wear pointes for the first time andhe can reacquaint himself with the challenge of losing himself in dance – something he has not done for quite a while.
Michel KelemenisA dancer with Dominique Bagouet, Michel Kelemenis first tried his hand at choreography at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier. In 1989, he set up his own company in Marseille, while continuing to create pieces for the Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris, the Ballet du Rhin, the Ballet du Nord and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève. He has also been invited to collaborate on productions and operatic choreographyat the Festival d’Art Lyrique d’Aix-en-Provence and the Opéra de Marseille. His creations are performed throughout France and internationally.
Katharina ChristlAfter training at the Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, Katharina Christl has worked with Frédéric Flamand since 2001.As well as being a soloist at the BNM, she is also developing her own choreographic work and is regularly invited to give master classes and workshops in France and abroad.
