Jamais de l'abîme

Inspired by James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake, Pierre Droulers created the two-part work Comme si on était leurs petits poucets (1991) and Jamais de l’abîme (1993), creations based around both Joyce’s text and the notion of duality. On paper they are represented by a circle, divided into as many parts as the performers’ states and actions.
