Iran’ti (“memory”) explores the relationship of the body to objects, in what they carry and transmit of the history of humanity. The stage space is envisaged as that of a museum: a place housing works of art, a bearer of the sacred, a place of memory which preserves the trace and meaning of objects and representations and which, like the Burniquel cave, reveals, up to tens of thousands of years later, the first traces of human existence.
Performed on Saturday 27 November 2021, Paillote de l’Institut Français de Cotonou, streaming.
