On the occasion of the event “Dansons Maintenant!” which it organized in 2011, 2012 and 2015, in Cotonou in Benin, the Zinsou Foundation conducted filmed interviews with guest artists and choreographers.
Invited to the 2015 edition, as a trainer, Seydou Boro answers Aurélie Lecomte’s questions during an interview on February 6, 2015, in Cotonou.
In this excerpt, he evokes the creation of the Choreographic Center La Termitière, in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) of which he is the co-director, and the recent development of places of training in contemporary dance in Africa, the challenge of which remains as much technical than reflexive.
