In Plain Site: Locus Duet
Invited for the first time in France in 1973 by the Sonnabend Gallery (New York) during the Festival d’Automne à Paris, the Trisha Brown Dance Company presented some of the Early Works at the Palais Galliera in Paris.
In Trisha Brown : In Plain Site, the Trisha Brown’s choreography gets rid of usual habits of the stage and invests some unexpected spaces. The Trisha Brown Dance Company selects pieces from the huge repertory of the choreographer, and imagines after a specific program for each place.
With these pieces:
Corners (Excerpt from Line up, 1976)
Scallops (1973)
Accumulation (1971) – Music Grateful Dead, Uncle John’s Band
Locus Duet (1975)
Present Tense (2003, Excerpt) – Music John Cage
I’m Going to Toss my Arms-If you Catch Them They’re Yours (2011, Excerpt)
