In between - Yellow suite
Between the two, in the interval, space or state, between an origin which carries the memories of our past experiences, which signifies where we are, where we have got to and a point of arrival that is dreamed of, imagined, even inevitably necessary.
“It is the title of this choreographic form which has been conceived as a ‘work in progress’. Presented wherever interaction with an audience is possible. It is site specific, devised for, and integrating, the qualities of the place where it is performed. Its aesthetic issues reveal the preoccupations which are currently at the heart of our artistic process. It is as many freeze-frame images as places utilized and performance forms on offer, like spaces for debating the future of our forthcoming productions.
Between the two, in the interval, space or state, between an origin which carries the memories of our past experiences, which signifies where we are, where we have got to and a point of arrival that is dreamed of, imagined, even inevitably necessary.
A time of action, reflection, desires, doubts and hesitation before a new affirmation.
Between being, doing and becoming. I am, I dance and I am becoming a dancer.
I look and I tell you. I look elsewhere, I imagine and I isolate myself in a space between the real and the imaginary, between account and abstraction.
There will be dancing, there will be images, real and virtual spaces on offer between you and us, to fill, to experiment, to imagine in the meeting-space.”
