“With Girls & Boys I did not want to do research on gender or gender relations. The piece is an excuse to project images that have to do with the unknown or the unspeakable. The scenes tend towards the clichés but it is the intensity which is given to them which defines the way in which they are perceived.“(Roy Assaf)
After being Emmanuel Gat’s leading performer, Roy Assaf started his own creative work with the duet Six Years Later and the men’s trio The Hill which is at the origin of Girls and boys.
