Filmed at the Bastille as part of the Summer in Grenoble.
Simplification of any existential trajectory – alternation of falls and suspensions – along a staircase that leads nowhere.
Appearance of a primordial motif – the fall – formed, deformed, reformed ad infinitum.
A spectacular little dance of extreme precision on an invisible score. It is through this method of expressing imbalance that the aesthetic of risk is based. This act is composed by the repetition of a state, not stable, but suspended (standing), progressing and intensifying step by step. The variations of this state confer a tension, a particular expressiveness, making it possible to take the measure of this “prowess and poetics of the abandonment”.
