Emblematic work of the repertoire, Folie stages 15 dancers carried away in excess and wild. Commissioned by Biennale of Val-de-Marne on the occasion of the bicentenary of the French Revolution, the work celebrates both the ardor of bodies and the exodus of a people in its vitality and fury. Bodies are noises, breaths, breaths that dare no longer exhale. The dance is free, energetic and transgressive. It never gives up.
