Flowers crack concrete, the piece in the Passerelles 2018 project, was born of the desire to bring together young people of different nationalities, religions, cultures and countries, who all share the same passion: dance.
‘Flowers crack concrete* reveals our ability to cross the lines that seem imposed on us and to invent a shared space that includes everyone’s individuality. This creation invites us to go towards the unknown, towards the person who is not me, by transcending the frontiers that separate us through dance and encounters’.
