A choreographic and scientific work, a distinctive point about resistance.

“Resistance is the law of matter and of the world; it is also the secret of the body, the secret of humans and of poets”.
On stage, a researcher, a choreographer and four female dancers, music by Charlie Haden, Carla Bley, Llyoub…, literary excerpts from Daniel Bensaïd, François Cheng…, an invitation to a one-of-a-kind experience: where the alchemy of resistance is developed over three danced chapters.

Resistance of matter and bodies to physical constraint, immunological resistance to viruses, strategy of the living, and last but not least, psychological and philosophical resistance…

A two-voiced conversation, the delicate mixture of the sensitive and the rational, of poetry and of knowledge, “Danse Experimenta” throws open the doors to an unusual and fascinating meeting point, where art and science harmonize, somewhat entertaining, questioning, and occasionally poignant.

A certain way of creating an alternative perspective on science and art… Or, how human beings develop and manage their strengths and weaknesses, by organizing their own resistance to deal with the world around them. Amazing.

What is being played out between the bodies (particles, cells or human beings)?

What joins them together? Where does their will to live on, forever, over and over again, in spite of everything, come from?

With simplicity and sensitivity, this performance attempts to provide answers through laughter and emotion, through fun and through seriousness. The dance is legible and open-minded and everyone, young and old, connoisseur or neophyte, will recognize themselves and may dream whilst learning.
