Carolyn Carlson, Solo
Program directed by André S. Labarthe
Venice, 1983. On October 10, Carolyn Carlson gives La Fenice the first performance of her new solo, which she is both choreographing and directing. A week before the definitive form of the show, André S. Labarthe filmed the American dancer and captured moments of creative tension where the artist gradually gives birth to her work, where she repeats, comment her own work, hesitate, doubt, improvise. Nine months after the creation in Venice, Carolyn Carlson is at Théâtre de la Ville.
