‘Bhava’ is a sagam-inspired dance creation, performed by young dancer Miguel Lisette and guided by choreographer Stephen Bongarçon, produced by Hangars Numériques during the FIDA#2 festival (2020).
A memory in the making, it is part of the cycle ‘10 Danses animées de l’Océan Indien’, an archipelago of hybrid expressions initiated in 2019, which explores the links between traditional dance and contemporary creation.
This filmed presentation offers a privileged look at a key stage in the 2D animated dance process: live-action filming, an essential basis for visual development and exploration of the choreographic gesture.
