In Accumulated layout, Hiroaki Umeda abandons video for once and works exclusively with light, sculpting space and playing with the viewer’s perception. Alternating low and intense lights, suddenly changing the light sources, he creates particular conditions of perception and the accumulation of these different fragmented and multiple states, gives shape to the work.
