Fatou Traore

Fatou Traoré has been active on the Belgian dance scene as a performer since 1989. She is an eclectic, mixed artist, an insatiable explorer of movement and sound, a teacher, a performer and/or choreographer, a singer and musician, an improviser.., 

In 1999, she founded the Cie F.T.1x2x3 and began her career as a choreographer and stage director. Live music is at the heart of her work. In 2021, she formed her own music group, Falana, là où tout commence, to flesh out her musical universe with trumpeter and guitarist Dorian Baste and double bassist Vincent Noiret.
