Nazaria Tooj

Nazaria Tooj initially expressed his art through dance, but this did not prevent him from using a multitude of artistic mediums to share his ideas. His interdisciplinary vision is that of LABIBLIOTEKROZ, an artistic company he has been directing since 2014.

He is further distinguished by his multidisciplinary creations, where today there are ten artistic creations, where one can generally read individuality, personality, peaceful revolt and diversity.

In his circuit, he followed training in graphic design, which opens his windows of creative exploration even more to propel him towards digital and digital. In 2021, he won the first prize of the Elo choreographic competition with the piece XM , a short solo dance video. In 2023, he was invited to exhibit a short film on death and reincarnation entitled OME at Hakanto Contemporary, a Malagasy contemporary art gallery, in the intergenerational exhibition “Lamba Forever Mandrakizay”.

In 2024, he directed two video clips of the Malagasy slam poet Poety Rebely. He actively participates in the organization of the 2nd edition of the Evasion Danse Festival.

Furthermore, he launched into clothing design which is always linked to art where he expresses his creation through pieces to wear and dress.
