Born in Yamoussoukro, Kadidja Tiemanta lives and works in Bamako, Mali. After obtaining a degree in English from the Faculty of Languages and Sciences in Bamako, she turned to the arts and dance. In 2017, she obtained a Master’s degree in dance from the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers Multimédia de Bamako (CAMM-BFK), and continued her training at the Ecole des sables where she validated the Diploma in Traditional and Contemporary Dances of Africa. At the Centre de Développement Chorégraphique La Termitière, in Ouagadougou, she participates in the Art of Teaching Project and  Engagement Féminin #11. She also joins the Identity – Dance – Root project at the Don Sen Folo centre in Bamako and takes part of the Glomus Camp Brazil 2017.

Performer for Nadia Beugré (Legacy), Taoufiq Izeddiou (Sans Titre), and Nikoko Yao (In The Box), she appears in the revival of Pina Bausch’s Rite of Spring for the Africa 2020 Season (Pina Bausch Foundation, Ecole des Sables, Sadler’s well) which will tour the world in 2021 – 2022.

In 2021, she created the duet Différent comme toi with Yacouba Coulibaly. In the same year, she presented Crossing, a performance in the public space. In 2021, she created (In)Secure with Carmélita Siwa and during 2021-22, she choregraphed the solo Banbali (100 fin) and  . 

She is directing the company Anw Ka Donko/Didja-kadi.
