Maeva Thurel

Born in 1990, Maëva Thurel grew up in Reunion Island where she currently works. She studied cinema and video editing in Paris then continued her career at the École Supérieure d’Art de La Réunion where she became her DNESP in 2017. From the Reunion landscape and Creole history, she worked on different documentary projects, experimental films and video installations. She is starting her first fictional short film project through the current Creation device around the theme of the cyclone.
