Rafael Pardillo

After working in Madrid with the Spanish choreographer Carmen Werner (Provisional Danza), he left for France to follow the training of the C.N.D.C l’Esquisse d’Angers, from 1992 to 1994. He discovered the work of Block & Steel, Bernardo Montet and Dominique Bagouet. In 1992, alongside his studies, he began working with the company L’Esquisse Bouvier-Obadia, and until 1998 he participated in all the creations of the Bouvier/Obadia tandem.
In 1999, he chose to continue his collaboration with Joëlle Bouvier. At the same time, he created three pieces in collaboration with Emilio Urbina, within their company Nod Dance Company.
In 2005, he joined Catherine Diverres’ team and participated in all her productions until the end of the company.
From 2007, he went to England to join the DV8 Physical Theater company to participate in the creation and touring of the show “To be straight with you” until December 2009.
In 2011 he was invited to be part of The Plant Collective to create “Double Take”.
2012 he meets the Olivier Dubois company and will participate in the play “Tragedie.
2017 He goes to Greece to work with Ermira Goro and Hannes Langolf on the “Dandelion” Project.
Between 2019-20 He co-wrote a duet with the dancer and choreographer Capucine Goust “Intimiteiten”.
2022 He creates his first solo “AFTER YESTERDAY” for the Festival Bien Fait!
In 2009 he obtained the D.E. state dance teacher diploma.
Since then, he has given internship courses, workshops and Master Classes, in different places, such as in Paris, the Menagerie de Verre, Micadanses, high schools and conservatories.
Also works in two theater schools, La Salle Blanche and L’école du jeux (Paris).
