Farid Ounchiouene

Discovered in 1994 during an audition organized at the initiative of the State and the Nord-Pas de Calais Region, noticed at the Urban Dance Meetings at Parc de la Villette in 1996, Farid Ounchiouene presents himself as an artist with multiple facets. Established in the North, he works among others alongside Farid Berki for the company Melting Spot (Petrouchka, etc.). Eager to develop his potential and broaden his practice of hip hop dance to other artistic disciplines, from 1997 to 2003 he followed several contact dance courses (in Quito – Ecuador), directing with Antonio Vigano, dance theater with Pippo Delbono. A meeting will be decisive in his journey: that of Guy Alloucherie, who will give him the desire to work on the text, the words, the material they represent to make them a body to dance.
