Pablo Molinero

Pablo Molinero got his start in the world of acting at the Universitat Jaume I. There he attended for four years the different training courses at the Carles Pons Theater Room of the UJI and created the theater collective La Casual with other colleagues. Since then, he has continued to train in acting, mainly at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett and also at La Casona (Theatrical Acting School); studies that he has combined with dance – he was part of the Sol Picó dance company – and with work in different theater companies, such as Visitors, La Viuda or La Fura dels Baus, among others.

In 2003, together with David Climent and Pilar López, he created the company loscorderos.sc, a group that has gained a reputation in the world of the avant-garde scene, in which he has worked on creation, interpretation and stage direction. His works have traveled all over the world and have received different awards such as the City of Barcelona Award, the FAD Sebastià Gasch Award, the Unnim Theater Award or the III Cenit Award for best show, among others.

During his career, Pablo has starred in films such as Nosotros, directed by Helena Taberna, La mort de Guillem, by Carlos Marqués-Marcet; The summer we live, by Carlos Sedes; or The Offering, by Ventura Durall. He has been recognized with the “Un futuro de cine” prize, awarded by the International Film Festival of Valencia Cinema Jove 2018. He has also worked in other films such as Chinas, directed by Arantxa Echevarría -premiered at the 71st Festival of San Sebastián-.

In reference to television, he is the protagonist of the series Tú también lo harías, directed by David Victori; La Peste, from Movistar+, directed by Alberto Rodríguez. He has also worked on Un asunto privado, from Amazon Prime Video.
