Martine Mbock

Martine Mbock nicknamed Tine is a professional dancer from the Paris region. She is inspired by different dances from Hip Hop culture and is a specialist in waacking and popping.
Self-taught director, Martine is making a documentary web series this summer entitled 140 BPM which revolves around the career of the professional dancer mother from Hip Hop culture. Committed, Martine is constantly looking for a way to give meaning to her art. She is interested in different social themes mainly concerning women. And questions how to create better spaces to communicate on the conditions of people who are discriminated against or who are invisible. She is part of the “too much is too much” collective which defends people who are victims of harassment.
