Maud Marquet

After studying at the Conservatoires de Reims and Troyes, Maud professionalized in Paris at the Rick Odums Institute
(IFPRO)  and passes his State Diploma in Contemporary Dance Pedagogy at the  École des Dupuy (RIDC). Here she meets choreographic personalities who  today influent on her work and offer her, through creations and covers,  the opportunity to launch on the stage; Luc Petton, Marilén  Iglesias-Breuker, Mié Coquempot, Anne Dreyfus, Bernardo Coloma, Cie  Montalvo-Hervieu, Dominique Brun…

Passionate about the mix of art forms and artistic encounters, she began her personal creations. She  founded her own company, En Lacets, in 2013 and won with Damien  Guillemin, during the 2014 Synodals, the 3rd prize of the Concours  Chorégraphique Contemporain Jeunes Compagnies with A B(R)AS LE MOT. In  collaboration with the choreographer Jeff Ridjali of Mayotte Island, she  creates KAARO, a mixed creation for 3 performers, an encounter between  Mayotte’s music and dance traditions and contemporary dance. This  creation is invited to the Théâtre des Outres Mers in Avignon in July  2016 and is organized for a tour in French Guiana, Africa and Outres  Mers.
