Daphne Lucker

Daphne Lucker (1994, Groningen, The Netherlands) is an Amsterdam based director and photogra- pher. She graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy with the short film SISTERS. During her studies she assisted various departments in productions outside and within the Film Acade- my. 

From 2018 until recently she studied at the Academy for Photography in Amsterdam developing her visual style as a photographer.
Daphne’s work has a poetic, theatrical and physical emphasis. Her stories often take place wi- thin the family circle where she searches for visually interesting ways to externalize the inner struggles of her characters.
