La Zampa

Magali Milian studied at the Avignon Conservatory and went on to the CNDC in Angers. Romuald Luydlin started to learn Butô with Sumako Koseki and Nô theatre with Master Kano. Together they began to train in Aikido and develop different approaches to movement.

They founded the company La Zampa and both work as choreographers and performers. Since 2000, they have created a dozen plays and performances, and organized Research Laboritories Investigation. Following “Requiem project”, piece created in successive steps with the guitarist Marc Sens and the rapper Casey, they join in 2012/13 the European network modul-dance / EDN (European Dancehouse Network) with their project “Spekies”, a piece for a dancer and a musician. They also work in the new project of Habits Noirs Collective, written by thriller authors Caryl Férey and Jean-Bernard Pouy.
